October and Movember

Taking a step away from me promoting my wares, it is high time I let people in on a little secret of mine: I support charities that do good work.  This year I’m going to do things a little different though.  Instead of just quietly doing my thing in the background, I will be making a far more public show of it.

To start it all off, to support the wonderful work of One Girl, I will be ‘doing it in a dress’.  One Girl are all about empowering women and girls to create and lead change withing their communities. You can check out my story in full at my Do it in a Dress page.  In short, I will be seeking donations and in return I will frock up in a school dress for a trip to the barber and visit to a salon for a leg wax.  Oh, I’ll also don a school dress for the DDCX Spooky CX where I will be out on course taking photographs for the afternoon/evening.  By the time Spooky CX is being run my mo should be starting to take shape.

After a couple of years away from Movember madness, I will be removing my beard this year and replacing it with a moustache for the month of November which I will talk more about later this month.  Just to let you know, I am thinking of auctioning off the right to decide the styling of my ‘stache so stay tuned!
